A snazzy jumper.
This spring and summer have to have taken the British biscuit. It’s been the wettest June ever and the temperature plummeted by so much, that at one point, the wood nearly got chucked back onto the burner.
So, what to wear in these post Brexit apocalyptic times, that can weather both the actual storms and the domestic and global ones?
Bring on the snazzy jumper. Light enough to shove in a bag when the sun suddenly makes a skin searing appearance, it’ll keep you from the hyperthermic chills the rest of the time. But – here’s the important bit – it will also put a smile on your face because a snazzy jumper isn’t just any old jumper, oh no, by it’s very definition it has to be a cheery one.
Wear it with shorts or flippy skirts on a chilly evening, to work with a tailored trouser, throw over a tea dress when the wind picks up…or get full on cosy in a rolled up pair of jeans and wellies, if this summer is anything to go by.
So here’s my edit of the best. The high street is awash with sales at the moment, so run like the wind and add some instant cheer to your wardrobe.
